General entry

  • To be considered for exhibition, entrants must complete and submit an entry form with details of their entry by 9am Monday 11th May 2026
  • The first 10 entries will be accepted for each category.
  • Each category has a limit of one entry per person.
  • Entry is open to individuals aged 16 years and over. Entrants under 18 years of age must have parent or legal guardian consent to participate.
  • Elected Members and employees of the City of Swan are not eligible to enter.

Art & Craft

  • All items must be original and created by the exhibitor.
  • Painting, Drawing and Photography entries must not exceed A3 (30cm x 42cm) dimensions. These entries must be suitably mounted or framed with the back of the artwork strung for display.
  • Photography must be printed and presented without significant digital manipulation.
  • Sculptures must be stable for public display. Ceramics must be suitable for display on tables. Freestanding sculptures must not exceed 100cm x 100cm and be free of sharp edges. Larger woodwork and metalwork entries may be considered at the discretion of the Swan Valley Show organisers.

Home & Country Kitchen

  • All entries must be homemade by the exhibitor.
  • Baked goods must be presented on a plain white plate and covered with clear wrap.
  • Jams must be in clean, sealed glass jars with labels indicating ingredients and date made.
  • No commercial or store-bought items permitted.
  • Judges will taste entries; preparation hygiene is essential.

Horticulture & Gardening

  • All produce must be grown by the exhibitor.
  • Garden baskets should contain a variety of seasonal items and be attractively arranged.
  • Vase floral arrangements must be stable, well-balanced, and suitable for public display.
  • Entries must be delivered in containers appropriate for display and handling.

Entry Drop-Off

  • Entries must be delivered on Friday, 22nd May 2026 between 11:00 AM and 5:30 PM to the WA State Equestrian Centre.
  • All entries must be delivered during this time to be eligible for judging. Late entries will not be accepted.

Awards

  • Three awards will be presented per category 1st, 2nd, 3rd place. First prize will receive a $50 Swan Valley Gift Card. Each placeholder will receive a ribbon.
  • Judging will commence at 6:30 PM on Friday, 22nd May 2026. Judges’ decisions are independent and final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  • Award presentations will commence at 3:00PM on Saturday, 23rd May 2026
  • Entries must be picked up from State Equestrian Centre upon the conclusion of the awards ceremony from 3:30-4:00PM Saturday, 23rd May 2026
