Dale Tilbrook Experiences

Unique to Perth, this Aboriginal-owned and -operated enterprise offers cultural activities, talks, performances and bush tucker tastings.

Owner, Dale Tilbrook is passionate about education and works extensively with students of all ages, sharing her knowledge of Australian native edibles and the cultural traditions of the South West peoples of Western Australia.

Bush tucker and well-being talks and tastings give you the opportunity to sample fruits, nuts, herbs, spices and peppers, learn about their flavours and how to blend and use them at home, and discover the health benefits of Australian bush foods.

Art sessions allow you to create your own dot painting masterpiece, with all paint and equipment supplied. With demonstrations and storytelling by Dale, you will hear how painting, songs and dance have been used to keep cultural stories alive for many thousands of years.

Local history and cultural sessions get you hands on with traditional artefacts, tools and weapons and offer you a fascinating insight into the history, traditional lifestyles and social structures of Australia's First People.

Dale also operates Maalinup Aboriginal Gallery, where you can view fine art pieces by Indigenous artists from throughout Western Australia.

Please note, all activities attract fees and require bookings.
