Make like Alice in Wonderland and follow the white rabbit to Mrs Rabbit Tea Rooms, an enchanting 1950s cottage surrounded by vineyards in the heart of West Swan Road, Henley Brook.
The rabbit theme continues through the decor of the restored cottage to the delicate rabbit-shaped shortbread.
High tea is an indulgent affair served on tablecloths, fine china, silverware, glassware, and tiered stands lovingly collected by the owner.

Padbury’s famous meringue pancakes are an Instagram hit but this Guildford favourite also serves high tea within its historic walls.
The menu of house made fare usually includes scones with jam and cream, cakes, sandwiches, and several savoury canapes. Sweets are baked fresh using what’s in season.
For special celebrations, Padbury’s also offers linen hire at an additional cost.
