Are you ready to be amazed? Let Yaakiny the Western Swamp Tortoise guide you on the Amazing Valley Chase. Follow the clues and collect all the letters to reveal the secret message on this free scavenger hunt through the Swan Valley.

Designed for families with children aged five to 10 years old, the adventure begins at the Swan Valley Visitor Centre and takes three to four hours to complete.

Getting started

You will need a copy of the Amazing Valley Chase clue sheet and a Swan Valley map. Collect them in person at the Visitor Centre or print the resources at home.

Before you go

Safety:

Don't forget to buckle up, and keep to the speed limits.

You might also need: sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, water.

Duration:

We recommend departing before 12pm. It takes approximately 3.5 hours to complete the tour. It's not a race, so you can take as much time as you need. If you don't finish today, you can come back and finish on another day.

Top tips:

Public toilets are located at the Visitor Centre and most of the nine Amazing Valley Chase locations.

Hours:

The Amazing Valley Chase can be done every day of the year. Both versions start and finish at the Swan Valley Visitor Centre, which is open seven days, 9am-4pm.
