Willing Coffee

Willing Coffee
Photo 1/1

Harking back to the family-run coffee shops of 1950s Italy, this petite, welcoming space is tucked away in a quiet, leafy enclave just down from the Rose and Crown Hotel.

Owned by former Australian cycling champion Tim Willing and his classical singer wife Veronique, the café offers fabulous specialty coffee along with simple, house-prepared brunches and treats (don’t miss the speciality, a shortbread crostata made with local fruit.)

Visiting cyclists will find much to please them here including cycling kits, repair items and a free-to-use pump for those caught out on their ride.

The café’s staple blend is roasted to exacting standards, while featured local and international roasters are on regular rotation – and, yes, you can buy the beans and brewing equipment to take home.

International journals – including The Financial Times of London which is flown in weekly – will help you make the most of your cherished downtime, and dogs are made most welcome.

Please note

  • Christmas and Boxing Days serving takeaway coffee and croissants only, 6.30am to 11.30am
