Classic glamour blends with contemporary style at this historic pub offering a variety of dining options (house-made pies, anyone?) and elegant accommodation at the gateway to the Swan Valley tourism region.
In the past, convicts received a ticket-of-leave before their sentences expired, which freed them to seek employment, marry and own property. This hotel was built in the late 19th century with the assistance of ticket-of-leave labour.
Today, the original heritage bars have been combined into the 1852 Lounge Bar while the sleek, modern Lot 142 Beer Garden offers al fresco dining at the front of the building with all venues being able to hold small or large functions.
Feel like a feed? “The Stirlo” is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner in the Prohibition Bistro. There’s also a well-stocked bottle shop that's open daily.
