Rose & Crown

Rose and crown
Photo 1/1

Located on leafy Swan Street in the heart of Guildford and on the doorstep of the Swan Valley, the heritage-listed Rose & Crown is the oldest hotel in WA, providing a welcome resting place for travellers and tourists for over 175 years.

Indoor and outdoor restaurants offer a range of delicious meals to suit every taste, and the atmospheric beer garden includes WA’s oldest rose bush.

A covered, decked bar area is the perfect spot on a warm day, with misters to cool things down and a simple menu of pub grub. Two indoor a-la-carte restaurants, housed in an 1841-built Georgian building, and a garden restaurant allow for comfortable seating for up to 200.

The stylish Posh Convict Bar features an elegant fireplace, cosy sofas and low tables, while the cellar bar offers a small and intimate setting.

Accommodation includes a 3.5 star, 28 room lodge and two elegant, heritage-styled boutique spa rooms.

Please note

  • Live music on Friday 5 - 8pm and on Sunday 2 - 6pm (weather permitting)
  • Dogs on leash are welcome, however permitted in the front outside verandah section only
  • On public holidays meals are available in the beer garden only
