Nocturnal Woylie Walk

Whiteman Park Night Trail woylie visit
Photo 1/1

You can experience the unique bushland habitats of the Woodland Reserve at Whiteman Park and see wildlife in action on this fantastic Friday night guided tour.

Led by knowledgeable volunteer guides, you’ll explore the Reserve habitats by torchlight, see native fauna in their natural environment and learn about what Whiteman Park is doing to help the critically endangered woylie.

Thanks to the special night-lighting, you’ll even be able to see woylies and quenda feeding at your feet!

If you're really lucky, you might even spot a resident short-beaked echidna, a tammar wallaby or some microbats flying overhead.

Bookings are essential for these popular tours, with funds from your tour fees going towards the upkeep of the Reserve and its inhabitants.

Price

$22 per adult | $17 per child (aged 6-16 years) | $17 per Concession/Student

Please note

  • Available from September to April
  • Tour not suitable for children aged under six years of age
