The Ngemi Festival is a distinguished cultural event traditionally held in Kenya, honouring Kikuyu people’s heritage through music, gastronomy, storytelling, art and community engagement.

The Ngemi-roo Festival programme at Valley Social includes:

  • Live performances featuring Kikuyu musical genres such as Benga and mugithi
  • Sessions of storytelling, poetry and spoken word
  • Art exhibitions and displays of cultural fashion
  • Youth-oriented networking opportunities and social activities
