Whiteman Park is the only place in Western Australia where you can ride on a genuine heritage electric tram.

The Perth Electric Tramway Society provides a regular service over 4 kilometres of standard gauge track through picnic areas and farmland.

Trams operate between the Village, Whiteman Park Station and Mussel Pool from 11am, with extended running times on weekends, public and school holidays.

NB: Ticket fees apply.

Tram rides do not operate on higher fire danger days or during a Total Fire Ban or Harvest Vehicle Movement Ban.

Please note

  • Open 11am - 4.15pm public holidays (closed Christmas Day)
  • Open 11am - 2pm weekdays during school holidays
  • Follow the website link to check Tram schedules
  • Whiteman Park can be contacted on 9209 6000 on the day of your visit if you wish to check whether trams are operating or not
