Sculptures of all shapes and sizes guard the sun-dappled grounds of this, one of the oldest privately owned galleries in Western Australia.

The 4.5 ha Gomboc sculpture park and indoor galleries are funded entirely by their founder, award-winning local sculptor, Ron Gomboc and his life-time partner, Terrie, director of the Gomboc Gallery. The property showcases over 100 indoor and outdoor sculptures created from a diverse range of materials by established local, national and international sculptors.

The gallery grounds are continuously evolving as pieces are sold, and you never know what you’ll find. There are five large indoor galleries, which feature a regularly changing array of original paintings and sculpture by established and emerging artists. Also on show are Ron’s own eclectic works.

For the past three decades, Ron and Terrie have staged an annual Sculpture Survey Exhibition encouraging and promoting students from institutions such as Curtin University, Edith Cowan University and TAFE colleges – check the website for details.
