G & A Alvaro

From a small stall in their garage, the Alvaro family sells a wide range of spray-free grape varieties, figs and melons.

Mrs Alvaro picks her own figs from the tree in her front garden and painstakingly dries them on racks before bagging them for sale.

Depending on the season and the weather, you can also pick up a few melons and have a bit of a yarn with these engaging Calabrians.
