Be sure to visit historic All Saints Church, the oldest church in WA. Built by one of the early pioneers of the area, Richard Edwards, over three painstaking years, this charming church has been hosting services since 1841.
It's a beaut spot to wander, discover the craftsmanship of the early settlers and walk through the cemetery, where you will find the gravestones of pioneers who played a significant role in developing the colony.
The site itself is the very place Captain James Stirling camped in 1827. The sign at the entrance of the church grounds states, 'It was here the vision of a State arose in his heart and mind.'
A poignant and not-to-be-missed experience in the Valley!
