Valley Wines

Valley Wines
Photo 1/1

Charlie and Sally Zannino welcome you to a little slice of history.

Charlie’s parents Antonio and Mariangela arrived from Italy in the 1950s, establishing a small vineyard and growing mostly table grapes and currants for dried fruit production.

Charlie learned winemaking, converted the vineyard to wine grapes and built a wine cellar in 1978. From this time, Charlie has continuously made a small selection of Italian style table wines which are pleasing, enjoyable and affordable.

Bulk wine sales are available by the litre, and customers are welcome to bring their own containers or purchase one on-site.

This rustic cellar door is the only place you can purchase Charlie’s wines, which include shiraz, grenache, late-picked grenache and chenin blanc, along with traditional fortified wine styles including his ever-popular port and marsala.

All of the wines offered here are made using grapes grown on the original vineyard, including an old vine shiraz made from vines planted more than 50 years ago.
