Part of the historical Woodbridge estate, which is a National Trust property and home to the state’s first governor, this waterside cafe sits right on the banks of the Swan River, with an ambience reminiscent of days gone by.
Morning and afternoon teas feature a range of desserts, freshly-baked scones, tasting plates, ploughman’s plates and many other savoury options. Freshly-prepared lunches and hearty breakfasts come with a large side-serve of rustic charm.
Surrounded by lawns and gardens, seating is in an undercover verandah, with lovely views of the water and, beyond, the grapevines of the Swan Valley.
Those arriving by boat are particularly welcome – there’s ample free mooring on the jetty nearby.
Take a stroll around historic Woodbridge or wander along the boardwalk and experience the full beauty of the Swan River.
The cafe is BYO and charges corkage only for larger groups.
