The Viskovich family has been growing fresh produce on their 5.5 hectare valley property since 1950.
Today, owners Ivan and Susan operate their roadside stall from Thursday to Sunday throughout January until early March, selling over a dozen varieties of chemical-free grapes.
The couple specialises in old-fashioned table grapes, including several super-sweet and juicy muscat varieties.
Ivan, now in his 80s, has been growing summer fruit since he came to the valley as a teenager and is very particular about what he sells. “We use low irrigation to maintain the sweetness of our crops, and I taste everything I grow,” says Ivan. “If it’s not up to standard, we simply don’t sell it."
