The 35th annual Swan Valley Wine Show took place on September 6-8 at the beautiful Mandoon Estate. Presented by Swan Valley Winemakers, the wine show is an annual opportunity for winemakers to benchmark their wines against other wines throughout the region to ensure and encourage the striving for excellence in winemaking practices.
245 wines were entered into this year’s show and 41 gold medals were awarded, a reflection of the high standard of wines submitted. The Swan Valley Winemakers invited local winemakers, business owners, and community members to gather and enjoy wine tastings and trophy presentations at one of Australia’s longest continually running wine shows.
The esteemed Best Swan Valley Table Wine of Show was awarded to John Kosovich Wines for their 2019 Chenin Blanc, which also received a trophy for Best Chenin Blanc.
