Virgin olive oil, vino cotto and fresh seasonal produce are what you’ll find at the Sorgiovanni family’s friendly roadside stall.
The oil is produced from over 100 olive trees growing on the family farm and the vino cotto, a smooth, silky cooked grape syrup, is produced from fruit also grown on the farm. Rich and full of flavour, vino cotto can be used on pancakes, ice cream, salads, roasts and anything else! The Sorgiovanni family’s favourite is vanilla ice cream with a smashed-up Crunchie bar drizzled with vino cotto – it’s heaven!
Seasonal produce, also grown on the farm, includes delicious figs and tomatoes from January to March, while winter and spring heralds the arrival of mandarins, peas and broad beans.
