Wildlife Encounters

Who doesn’t want to make a furry friend?

With its wide open spaces and laidback rural charm, the Swan Valley is one of the best places to get up close and personal with Australia’s adorable native animals. Give a wombat a scratch or stroke a friendly ‘roo, meet a koala or giddyup on a camel. Head to a farm to cuddle a sheep or pat a pony, or hold a real python if you dare.

For the flora lovers, there are countless trails and picturesque picnic spots bursting with beautiful blooms just waiting to be discovered.

The City of Swan acknowledges the Whadjuk (Noongar) people, who are the traditional custodians of this country. We pay respect to their culture, history and their elders past and present.
