Located on a beautiful five-acre property in the Swan Valley, the Sacred India Gallery brings to life the sights and sounds of spiritual India.
Established by artists from Perth’s Hare Krishna community, the gallery takes visitors on a 'journey' to three of India’s sacred pilgrimage sites. The gallery features intricate hand-carved displays, walk-in installations and an amazing miniature exhibition.
Part art gallery, part museum, this is a maze of fascinating artefacts, walk-in installations, traditional Indian carvings and numerous information boards, maps and photographs that capture the sights, sounds and mystical atmosphere of spiritual India – no wonder a recent visitor called it 'a beautiful, magical kingdom'.
Free guided tours are conducted on weekends and public holidays at 12.00pm and 4.00pm. Bookings can be made via the gallery's website (link opposite).
