Guildford Town Bakery

  Restaurant / cafe

Baker John Voight might not have Angelina Jolie as a daughter, but he does make very fine pies, along with old-fashioned sweet favourites like beestings, vanilla slices, fruit flans and cinnamon scrolls.

This family-run business opened 20 years ago and John, his wife and three children have worked hard over the years to achieve their reputation for consistency and quality.

John is also a pie judge at the Perth Royal Show, so it’s no surprise his own pies, sausage rolls and pasties are a labour of love. Fillings are all made from scratch and John makes his own pastry.

The shop also sells artisan loaves, pumpkin breads and rolls of all sorts, as well as scones, muffins and fresh doughnuts of various flavours.
