With a focus on fresh, humane and seasonal produce, Swan Valley Gourmet offers a rustic, paddock-to-plate experience featuring tasty, delicious food that nourishes the body and the soul.
You’ll find plenty of gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options, as well as all-day breakfasts, own-made burgers (meat, haloumi and vegan) and properly made tea and coffee. Also on the menu are substantial salads, triple-cooked hand-cut, skin-on chips and various cakes and tarts.
Like the tomato ketchup? It’s made in-house – as is the sauerkraut and the relishes. In fact, most things here are own-made, from the sourdough bread (available in wheat, spelt and gluten free versions) to sauces and soft cheeses.
What you won’t find here are processed foods with unpronounceable ingredients or food that takes itself too seriously. The owners also do their darnedest to minimise their environmental footprint, using rainwater for irrigation and running their tractor on biodiesel, made from discarded restaurant oils.
