Orinoco + Bungo Art - Hair - Shop

Please note, opening days and times may vary, please contact this business before visiting.

The furry stars of 1970s children’s show The Wombles - fictional creatures who collected rubbish and re-invented it into useful products - are the inspiration behind Guildford home décor, hairdressing services and art and gift store, Orinoco + Bungo.

Owner and artist Jay Heather is on a mission to redefine our throwaway culture, stocking only keepsakes that are of genuine quality, ethically made, long lasting, durable, original and sustainable.

Step into this delightful boutique space and it’s the bright colours that strike you first, as you explore a carefully curated collection of original brands that showcase innovation, creativity, eco friendliness and individual flair.

The store is an outlet for Jay’s vibrant original artworks, or you can commission your own unique art work in digital print imagery or hand painted by Jay.

Also a hairdresser with 30 years' experience, Jay now offers hairdressing services within the space, specialising in creative hair colouring.

If you can’t get to the store, you’ll find some of the best selling items in the online store (see tab opposite).

Bookings for hairdressing services can be made via Facebook (see link below left).
