Monet Gallery of Fine Arts

Are you keen to view paintings by talented West Australian artists? At the gateway to the Swan Valley, the Monet Gallery of Fine Arts in South Guildford showcases an ever-changing exhibition of beautiful artworks in three gallery areas.

Owner/artist Maureen Sylvia curates the work of over 40 well-established artists in a variety of mediums including acrylics, pastels, oils and watercolours. So why not come and discover the wonderfully diverse talents of some of the State’s best? You don’t need to know a lot about art to enjoy a browse, make a purchase or just enjoy a chat with Maureen and the many artists who come and go.

The front Impressionist Gallery, which houses her watercolours, can also be hired for meetings on Friday afternoons.

At the side of the gallery is a walk-way to the Swan River, which lies just two minutes away. This hidden section of the river is quiet, historic and ideal as a picnic spot.

School excursions are hosted on Thursdays.
