Jude Taylor

Please note, opening days and times may vary, please contact this business before visiting.

If you’re looking for an art piece or a quintessentially Western Australian gift or memento, look no further than artist Jude Taylor’s studio, located within Taylor’s Art and Coffee House.

Jude is a self-taught relief printmaker specialising in bold, hand-coloured linocuts inspired by the ability of Western Australian native wildflowers to sustain life in a hostile environment and the hardy Australian bush women, who were both able to flourish in a harsh West Australian environment. Details of these works are then reproduced in her collections of screen-printed fabrics, wallpapers and home wares.

Based in the Swan Valley for over 20 years, Jude has been reinterpreting the strength, tenacity and beauty of wildflowers through her iconic works. Jude uses environmentally-friendly methods in her work. All pieces are made from natural fibres & painstakingly hand printed.
