In a region preoccupied with its European heritage, it’s great to find somewhere offering cultural difference.

Housed in historic Tindale House, this friendly, elegant BYO cafe charges just $1 per person corkage, so it’s an ideal place to take all those Swan Valley wines you’ve purchased during your stay. The cafe serves home-cooked, authentic Vietnamese fare using only the best, freshest ingredients, as well as a few Australian dishes for younger, less adventurous palates.

Favourites include various fragrant, coconut-rich curries and an addictive caramelised pork belly. With over 100 dishes on the menu and a changing array of home-made desserts (banana sago with coconut cream, fried ice-cream) there’s something for everyone.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, but pho (noodle soup) is available lunchtimes only.

The City of Swan acknowledges the Whadjuk (Noongar) people, who are the traditional custodians of this country. We pay respect to their culture, history and their elders past and present.
