The hand-crafted pies on offer here change daily, but always on offer is their famous chilli-chocolate pork pie, a hearty beef cheek pie topped with truffled mash and at least one gluten-free option.
Chef-owner Mel and his wife Wendy opened their foodie heaven in early 2017, selling unique, own-made pies, pickles, preserves and delicatessen lines. Everything you see here is made from scratch, from Mel’s own-made butter to chutneys featuring local India Pale Ale and pickles made with Swan Valley wine. Mel and Wendy bake their bread daily and sell everything you need for a gourmet picnic.
If you’ve been hankering after a traditional pork pie, this is the place to visit. Mel painstakingly follows every step of the traditional process, even making his own meat jelly. Like everything else in this shop, the results speak for themselves.
