Michael and Joe Ramiah have brought a little slice of Mauritian heaven to the Swan Valley and we couldn’t be more excited.
Café Du Quartier is a true family affair, with Joe and Michael’s wife, both chefs, doing all the home style cooking, another nephew making the scrumptious sweets and Michael’s two daughters bringing decades of hospitality experience to the venture.
Michael ran a café in Mauritius for 35 years and is delighted to bring diners some signature culinary dishes such as Gateau Piments (deep fried Mauritian split peas and chilli cake) and delicious Mauritian style kebabs with marinated free range chicken, cabbage, carrot, red onion and mayo in a crusty baguette served with homemade chips.
Modern Australian cuisine is also available including traditional breakfasts that you have to taste to believe.
Café Du Quartier is set in stunning grounds, well catered for children with a playground and kids' corner, and plenty of space to bring your pooches too.
See you soon!
