The Swan Valley has scored plenty of wins at the 2017 Perth Airport WA Tourism Awards, with the Swan Valley Visitor Centre (SVVC) taking out gold in the ‘Visitor Information and Services’ category, and Whiteman Park gaining top honours in the 'Major Tourist Attractions' category.
Entopia Wines and Sandalford Wines were also singled out for excellence, scoring Gold (Sandalford) and Bronze (Entopia) in the 'Tourism Wineries, Distilleries and Breweries' category.
Sandalford Wines also picked up Silver for the 'Tourism Restaurants and Catering Services' category.
With over 100 Visitor Centres in the State, picking up gold was a huge honour for SVVC and caps off a number of plaudits in recent years, including Gold at the WA Tourism Awards (2009-2011), Silver at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards (2012) and Hall of Fame induction (2012).
Gold medallists will now go on to represent Western Australia at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, being held at Perth Stadium on February 23, 2018. Wish us luck and don't forget to check out all the award winners on your next trip to the Valley!
