Top 10 Playgrounds in the Swan Valley and Surrounds

Who's up for some family fun in the Swan Valley and surrounds? Swing past, grab some local produce, select some gourmet goods, and let the kids run wild in some of the best playgrounds in the state. Here are our top picks for the little ones to climb, roll, spin, jump and slide.

Aviary Creek Park, Aveley
Suits: Kiddies/tweens aged from one to 12.

This brand spanking new park features a one-of-a-kind design with a giant water wheel and twisting tunnel slides, making it a huge hit for older children with a serious climbing bug. There are also smaller slides for younger children and toddlers. Kids of all ages will love getting wet and sandy in the water play area at Aviary Creek Park, while parents and grandparents can enjoy a game of bocce.

Jungle Park, Whiteman Edge
Suits: Kiddies/tweens/teens aged from five to 15.

Behold - Whiteman Edge's Jungle Park is the ultimate adventure playground. Think climbing nets, mini trampolines, a rope bridge, a HUGE slide, a great modern take on a classic see-saw and rope swings. While the playground has been designed for children aged over five, there is a bonus toddler area to keep the little ones entertained.

Annie’s Landing District Playspace, Ellenbrook
Suits: Kiddies/tweens aged from two to 12.

Located amongst the beautiful natural bushland, Annie's Landing District Playspace strives to reconnect children with nature. There’s a beaut flying fox, a spider net and bird’s nest swing for the big kids, plus a smaller interactive climbing structure, sand play and swings for the little kids. Plus a huge rope bridge for the adrenalin junkies!

St Leonards Park, Swan Valley
Suits: Kiddies/tweens aged from one to 12.

Perfect for any child who thinks he/she is the King/Queen of the castle, St Leonards Park boasts two fantastic play areas catering for both toddlers and older children, featuring rock climbing, a rope bridge, slides of all shapes and sizes and loads of swings.

Woodbridge Riverside Park, Guildford
Suits: Kiddies aged from two to 10.

Sand, nature and water play, climbing nets, slides, a flying fox, tunnels, swings and hidden dinosaur bones, all in a fully fenced space with safety latch gates. We can’t get enough of the Woodbridge Riverside Park – so much to do and oh-so secure.

Livvi’s Place Playground, Whiteman Edge
Suits: Kiddies aged from one to 10.

We love Livvi’s Place Playground in the Swan Valley because it’s an all-inclusive playground. Play equipment has been designed specifically to cater for autism spectrum disorders, physical, visual, hearing and mobility impairments. On top of that, it’s a top spot for loads of fun, featuring water play, a flying fox, wheelchair accessible roundabout, sensory play, climbing nets and slides.

Vale Adventure Park, Aveley
Suits: Kiddies aged from two to 10.

Located in the heart of Aveley, Vale Adventure Park is a fantastic playground for toddlers and children under 10. Kids will adore the flying fox, climbing nets, roundabout, rockers, music play and water play, as well as lots of fun wood carvings. There’s even a small skate park nearby for the older kids.

Pirate Playground, Ellenbrook
Suits: Kiddies aged from one to 10.

The Pirate Playground in Ellenbrook is a dead-set pirate paradise! The grand pirate ship features a steering wheel, pretend canons and a lookout. Further afield, you'll find palm trees, a treasure chest, and a hammock. Lots of fun to find here, my hearties!

Village West Playground, Whiteman Park
Suits: Kiddies aged from two to 10.

Village West Playground is Whiteman Park's signature playground. Fully fenced and shaded, it has loads of features including a mini water playground just a few short metres away. The 30cm-deep paddling pool comes complete with water spouts and is the perfect spot to cool down over summer.

Rainbow Waters Playground, Ellenbrook 
Suits: Kiddies/tweens/teens aged from one to 15.

Stay cool at Rainbow Waters Playground in Ellenbrook with 15 interactive water features, including fountains, bubble jets and spray guns. There are also plenty of fab extras like barbecues, picnic shelters/tables and change room facilities.
