School’s out! Choose your own adventure in the Swan Valley

Winter school holidays are possibly one of the hardest times to avoid cabin fever and keep your little cherubs entertained.

Thankfully the Swan Valley has huge range of activities for the whole family, rain or shine. Step away from the iPad, TV and indoor cubby houses, jump in the car, and spend a day (or two) exploring the Swan Valley.

Kids in the Valley Trail

On the Kids in the Valley Trail, kids and grown-ups alike can feed Australian wildlife, cuddle farm animals, venture on a bush walk and so much more.

Whether it's the excitement of seeing some of Western Australia’s coolest reptiles, enjoying delicious chocolate and ice cream, playing a round of mini golf, hiking and picnicking at Bells Rapids or giving the cutest baby animals a big hug, the Kids in the Valley Trail has something for everyone.

The Kids in the Valley Trail has 10 stops and can be enjoyed over many days. They’re ideal for school holiday fun, a family day out or a weekend stay. We suggest you choose one adventure, a lunch stop and a special treat stop each time you visit.

Download your Kids In The Valley Trail map now and start planning your school holiday adventures.

The Great Valley Rally & The Amazing Valley Chase

When was the last time you went on a good old-fashioned treasure hunt, or tested your detective skills and used your imagination to solve a puzzle?

Get on board The Great Valley Rally, a thrilling treasure hunt where you and your fellow explorers can follow Stirling the Black Swan’s cryptic clues along a specific route in the Valley.

On the exciting Amazing Valley Chase, Taylor Tortoise will guide you around the many attractions of the Swan Valley using a clever clue sheet.

Designed for families with children aged five to 12 years old, why not get a group of families together to do the Rally or the Chase and afterwards meet up for a picnic at one of the great Swan Valley picnic destinations?
