Food on the Go

29 August 2018

There are lots of tasty takeaway options in the Swan Valley! The huge range of super fresh Swan Valley produce begs for a make-your-own picnic or a lunch on the go. So if you’re after more than simple sandwiches and a supermarket bought salad to pack into your picnic basket, the Swan Valley’s food stalls, cafes and providores can arm you with all you’ll need for a delicious family picnic or platter.

We’ve all had those mornings where you’re running late and desperately need that caffeine pick me up. Never fear, there are lots of takeaway coffee options in the Swan Valley. Get your coffee fix at Little Lamonts, Taylor's Art & Coffee House and Oakover Grounds, which is also home to Fiori Coffee. At Yahava Koffeeworks there’s even drive through! Don’t forget a take away hot chocolate for the kids.

Fresh Food Stalls

Driving through the Swan Valley you’ll notice quaint road-side fresh food stalls. Here you can buy freshly picked produce, to whip up a fruit salad, direct from the people who grow it. Depending on what’s seasonal, you can devour juicy mandarins or even plump table grapes. Swan Valley Sisters, found on Gnangara Road, sell their own organic produce including asparagus, oranges, lemons, bananas and figs each weekend morning. Be sure to pick up a bottle of their freshly squeezed fruit juice, made from fruit picked that very morning, for your family.
