Bullsbrook

Bullsbrook in Western Australia (WA) is around 19km north of the Swan Valley via the Great Northern Highway and is characterised by the backdrop of the Darling Scarp with its significant natural and rural landscape.

Bullsbrook has a fascinating and rich history. The area has strong ties to the Aboriginal community and protection of sacred, archaeological and historical sites is of great importance to the local community. Walyunga National Park contains one of the largest known aboriginal campsites around Perth and was still used by the Nyoongar people in the late 19th century.

For couples, why not pick up some fresh strawberries, a bottle of wine from Jumbuck Hill Winery and head to one of the many great picnic spots. Stay overnight in a cosy bed and breakfast and stop off at the Celtic Art Gallery for a little retail therapy.

Families are well catered for in Bullsbrook, you can get lost in the Maze, play a round of mini-golf, pat a koala, kangaroo or emu and enjoy a BBQ or lunch at any of the local cafes. Why not enjoy a weekend getaway and stay overnight at a farm stay like Shetland Park Chalets where the kids can get involved in feeding while you enjoy a sleep in.
