Swan Valley festivals and events make Perth’s premium food and wine region buzz with excitement. “If it’s been a while since you last visited the Valley, do it at a festival. I know you’ll love it!” says Kate Lamont, Chairman of the board of Tourism Western Australia.
Festivals
- Spring in the Valley is one of the largest events of its kind in Australia – the festival is held in Perth’s Swan Valley over the second full weekend in October every year.
- For something more intimate, try the Taste of the Valley in February. Indulge in delicious wine tastings, seasonal menus, musical entertainment, demonstrations and art exhibitions.
- Seafood lovers will enjoy savouring the flavours at the Seafood and Shiraz event held over two weekends in July. Wineries and restaurants offer special menus combining fresh Western Australian seafood with premium Swan Valley Shiraz, the perfect way to wile away a winter weekend.
