The 2010 event was held on the first two weekends in July:
Ist weekend - Friday 2nd of July, Saturday 3rd of July and Sunday 4th of July.
2nd weekend - Friday 9th of July, Saturday 10th of July and Sunday 11th of July
With the temperatures dropping and thoughts turning to winter, chefs and winemakers in the Swan Valley prepared their menus and carefully matched it with premium Swan Valley Shiraz for the annual Seafood & Shiraz in the Swan Valley in July.
2010 saw eight venues throughout the Valley participating with a variety of menu options.
The event occurred over two weekends 2-4th July and 9-11th July. There was an opportunity to sample different menus at different venues.
The event is made possible through The Swan Valley and Regional Winemakers Association (SVRWA). The SVRWA believe this untried combination of Shiraz with robust seafood dishes will delight the public and show that red wine can also combine well with the right seafood dish.
