Elmar and Anette Dieren came to Australia from Germany on a working holiday in the early 80s. Loving the lifestyle they returned in 1987 to establish their first smallgoods shop. From those early days, they have established another Elmar's Smallgoods store in Myaree and now the beautiful Elmar's in the Valley, microbrewery and restaurant.
Elmar's in the Valley is a fully licensed restaurant and has the only Glass Brewery in the Southern Hemisphere which showcases three beers; Ein Stein, Pilsner, Kick Back Wheat Beer and Over Draft Ale.
Enjoy their spacious indoor dining or relax in their 2 acre beer garden which is a beautiful parkland area. The menu caters for all tastes and features traditional German foods. A fine dining menu can be arranged on request for special events such as:
