Waters Edge Estate

Established in 1830, this historic site, now known as “Waters Edge Estate Winery” produced Western Australia’s very first vintages. The building stands on the prime waterfront location of what was once a colonial land grant, give to one Thomas Waters, a botanist who arrived on one of the first fleets to Western Australia.

Today Waters Edge Estate boasts the original cellar, an underground restaurant for lunch and wine tasting for guests travelling with Captain Cook Cruises, and the Riverview Room ideal for Weddings, functions, corporate or any special occasion.

Situated on the stunning banks of the Swan River, Waters Edge offers access by road or water and is undoubtedly one of Perth’s most unique and attractive venues.

Surrounding the main buildings are acres of well-kept lawns and gardens providing exquisite views and ideal photographic surroundings.
