Olive Farm Wines

Olive Farm Wines is a 4 generation family winery located in the heart of the Swan Valley. My family (Yurisich) took ownership of Olive Farm Wines in 1933 and have been making a diverse range of wines ever since, including method champenoise, white, red and fortified wines.

My great grandfather – stari dide` (means old grandfather in Croatian) started out by making bulk fortified wines, primarily to send to the miners in Kalgoorlie. This then led into my grandfather (dide`) extending our range to include dry white and ‘claret’ style wines. In the late 1960’s we bottled our first table wines in 750mL bottles. Dide` also started producing method champenoise in the 1960’s, one of the first people in the state.

My father, Ian, continued to grow our production and range of wines, focusing on small batch production of premium Swan Valley wines. We built our brand new winery in 2007 and I am continuing in the Yurisich family tradition of winemaking, with dad and I doing everything from growing the grapes, making and bottling the wine.

Olive Farm Wines has over 25 wines to offer and we are confident you will find a favourite or two. We are also very close to releasing a range of spirits / schnapps that we have produced from our onsite still!
