In 2002, Feral Brewing company opened its doors in the Swan Valley, Western Australia’s oldest wine region, at a time when Australia’s independent brewing scene was in its infancy. Driven by a deep respect for traditional brewing methods, the team set out to brew ambitious beer brimming with character and complexity.
The result is something deliberately, distinctly and unapologetically Feral.
Nestled amongst the old vines, rusted-out utes and rich, iron-soaked, alluvius red dirt of the Swan Valley, you will find the spiritual home of Feral, the Brewpub.
The restaurant serves modern Australian cuisine that celebrates seasonality and local produce, as well as damn fine, hearty food. With a focus on sustainable eating, Feral endeavours to provide a culinary experience that is not just delicious, but an honest reflection of the Valley’s rich market soils.
Hosting seasonal culinary events throughout the year, including paired degustations, beer tours, functions, and the occasional wake (see: geese).
The Beer Garden gumtrees’ branches filter the inviting Western Australian sun and bathe the grass with dappled light and warmth. It is the perfect space to curl up on a rug, drape luxuriously across a cluttered picnic table, or play a casual round of corn toss as you wile away those pleasant balmy days.
Please note that only half the Beer Garden is available for reservations.
