Many Swan Valley wineries were among the first to be established in Western Australia (WA), making it the State's oldest wine producing region. Today it's home to more than 40 family owned vineyards, many of which are still run by the descendants of Croatian and Italian families who came to the area in the early 1920's. And, as one of the State's most awarded wine regions, the Valley has a solid reputation for producing excellent whites, reds and fortifieds.
The tradition of small boutique Swan Valley wineries is what gives this region of Western Australia its charm. Among the big international players like Houghton and Sandalford are many smaller wineries, where the winemakers and vineyard owners greet and serve you at the cellar door.
Why not book a tour, sit back, relax and enjoy being chauffeured around the region. It's a great way to explore the Valley and sample the region's award-winning wines.
